Which UPLOAD-RULES have to be followed?
No files that are not allowed to be shared. (no illegal, pornographic or copyrighted files)
Number of downloads: Unlimited. We have files being downloaded more than 100.000 times.

How much may I download as a free user?
Since we are offering our service for free users with full speed as well, we have included a download-limit, which is set to 30 MB per hour. If you like to use our service, we hope that you will decide to buy a premium-account. Premium-accounts do not have this limitation. Furthermore they have many more advantages. Check it out here.

What are Premium-Points?

Upload your files in your Premium-Zone, and you will get points for downloads of your files. You can then convert your collected points to free premium-accounts. (Check "Convert points" in your premium-zone.) You can also extend your own premium-account for free. You will get one point per download if the downloader is a free-user AND your file is bigger than 1 MB AND the downloader has generated less than 5 points in the last hour. This rules have been introduced to protect us from abuse.

Can I resume broken downloads?

Yes, but only if you own a Premium-account. With a Premium-account, your requests are sent through more complex server-routines, which also support download-accelerators. Those programs support resume of broken files and even segmented downloads. This means, you can download the same file with many streams, resulting in higher download-speed.

Which download-accelerators can I use?

Right now we have tested the following programs successfully: GetRight, FlashGet, GoZilla and IDM.

Your system complaints about that I am already downloading files or that I have already downloaded too much. But I did not download anything! Whats wrong there?

Our system checks your IP-address in order to count the downloads. If you are getting this message and you really did not download anything, then you are using a proxy-server, which is used by other people as well. Even if you have no proxy-server set up in your configuration, there are many providers who force a transparent proxy-servers between you and the net. If you do not believe us, go to other pages telling you your IP-address (for example http://www.myipaddress.com. ) But what can you do? You have to disable this proxy-server. If you are not able to disable the proxy-server, the only solution IS a Premium-account. Premium-users are recognized by cookies, not by IP-address. Unfortunately we cannot disable our IP-check, else people would download so much that we would have to close down this service completely. I hope you understand our situation in this matter.

I have purchased a premium-account, but your system does not recognize me! Whats wrong?

Please make sure you have enabled cookies on your system. Also make sure you do not have software installed, which blocks sending of cookies. Some firewalls for example like to do this. You do not HAVE to accept cookies, but you will have to enter your login-data for every file you want to download, if you do not accept cookies.

Can I browse your big file-archive?
No. Not everyone wants his files to be seen by everyone. In order to protect privacy, its absolutely impossible to get files, which URL's you do not know.

Can I delete my uploaded files?
Sure you can! After your upload, you will get two links. The download-link, which you give to everyone you want, and a delete-link, which you keep for yourself. Just click on the delete-link and your file will be deleted immediately.

Please enter your Login and Password at Account-Data and press Log in. If you've checked Automatic Login RapidShare will automaticly log in with your Account-Data from now on.
In order to download hosted files from RapidShare click the Add files-button and insert the links you want to Download. Then select a location to save the files and press Add files to Queue. If you want to extract all RapidShare links automaticly from a text or HTML Source click the Text-button in the Add files window and insert for example the Sourcecode from a boardpage. To start the download simply click the Start Download-button. (If you want to change the amount of simultaneous downloads do this in Download-Options before you start the download). In the On Download Complete section you can select what RapidGet should do after all downloads in the Download-Queue are completed. With a click on "Queue-options" you can look at all your queued files and mark or delete them.

Uploading files with Rapidget is very easy: Set up a folder for the linkfiles in which the textfiles with the Download- & Deletelinks will be placed. Now press Add Category and enter the Category's name. when you click Add Files you are able to add files to this category. If you click Start Upload RapidGet will upload all files of this category. The uploadsystem with categories works like this: You create a category and add files to the category. After finish uploading a file the Download- & Deletelinks for this file are saved in "name of the category""name of category".del.txt. If you upload files of the same category the Download- & Deletelinks are saved in the same file.
[ Linkchecker ]
With the RapidGet Linkchecker you can test links on their availability. Just add the links which are to be tested to the field on the left. (Press Clipboard if you have the links in your clipboard or Text if you want to grab RapidShare Links from a Text or HTML Source.) By checking Info-Box you can choose if you want to see a summary after the test. To test the links click Test Links. After all links are tested the links which work turn green, deleted links turn red and lines not recognized as valid RapidShare Links turn yellow.
[ Notes ]
Here you can store Informations about the files you're downloading (e.g. Passwords for Archivefiles). You can save'em with a click on the Floppysymbol. Your Notes will be saved in the Settings-Folder and will be loaded automaticly on the next Start of RapidGet.

How To Use

Select file to send by clicking the "Browse" button. You can select photos, audio, video, documents or anything else you want to send. The maximum file size is 150 MB.
Click "Upload" button to start file upload. You will see the progress of the file transfer. Please don't close your browser window while uploading or it will cancel the upload.
For file upload via FTP, you need to create temporary account by clicking "FTP" button on the main page. Using this account you can upload only one file and (size up to 150 Mb) and don't create folder for your file. After file upload you need to click "Commit Upload" in "Account Properties" to make it accessible immediately (otherwise it will be accessible in 6 hours after account creation).
To protect your information with password - activate checkbox "Use Password" and fill in your password.
You can optionally send download link to file by entering e-mail addresses. They can then simply click on the link to download it.
If you entered optionally your e-mail address, you will be sent the "Download link" and "File Properties" link to you by e-mail.
To delete your file, just enter in "File Properties" and click on "Delete File" button
